How to recognize HR compliance issues as they happen.

Our managers don’t have to be Human Resource (HR) experts. However, it is important for Managers to treat employees consistently & fairly to avoid any legal liability. All supervisors need to update their knowledge regularly to stay in compliance with labor laws and regulations, set by federal, state, and local governments.

Managers can have difficulty knowing what to do in increasingly complicated employee situations. Understanding the basic principles of HR is the most cost effective and easiest way to head off employee relation problems and legal challenges.

Areas covered:

  • Federal & State legislation you need to be knowledgeable of – get the details!
  • Retaliation
  • Documentation is your best friend!
  • And much more.
